NATIONAL CADET CORPS || NCC

The National Cadet Corps has completed 72 glorious years in the Service of the Nation and the people. The NCC has developed from strength to strength since its foundation in 1948. The cadets, both past and present, ANOs, defence personals and civil staff, carry on the glorious work tirelessly and contribute heavily their energy towards the progress of the nation. NCC is the biggest youth organization in the world. It consists of students/cadets, teachers/ANOs, training staff, defence officers, and civil staff. These dedicated peoples have been serving the nation and the society very gloriously since the commissioning the NCC as the reserve force of the country. According to Col.S.Joshi, “The National Cadet Corps came into existence on 16 July 1948, under the 31st NCC Act of 1948, based on the recommendation of Pundit H Kunzru Committee. ||𝐑𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐲𝐚 𝐑𝐢𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐬|| The Rashtriya Rifles or RR  is a branch of the Indian Army under the authority of the Indian Ministryof Defence.  The RR is a counter– insurgency force made up of soldiers deputed from other parts of the Indian Army.  The force is currently deployed in the state of Jammu&Kashmir.  The RR units come under four "Counter Insurgency Force" (CIF) HQs. Each CIF is responsible for an area of the kashmir Valley and Jammu Division.  Victor Force and Kilo Force come under the operational control of 15 Corps. Delta Force and Romeo Force come under the operational control of the 16 Corps.  They are a crack force is specifically trained and equipped with the best of weapons and vehicles available to fight insurgency in Jammu and Kashmir at high altitudes. September 12: Two senior officers of the Indian Army died in a road accident in Rajasthan on Saturday morning. The deceased included Colonel Manish Singh Chauhan and Major Neeraj Sharma. It is learnt that Colonel Manish Singh Chauhan had featured in Hrithik Roshan starrer Lakshya movie which released in 2001 In one of the scenes from Lakshya movie , young Colonel Chauhan is seen sitting next to actor Hrithik Roshan.

The  HAL Tejas  is an  Indian  single-engine,  fourth-generation ,  multirole   light fighter  designed by the  Aeronautical Development Agency  (ADA) in collaboration with Aircraft Research and Design Centre (ARDC)  of  Hindustan Aeronautics Limited  (HAL) for the  Indian Air Force  and  Indian Navy . It came from the Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) programme, which began in the 1980s to replace India's ageing  MiG-21  fighters. In 2003, the LCA was officially named "Tejas". Tejas has a tail-less compound   delta-wing   configuration with a single   vertical stabilizer . This provides better   high-alpha   performance characteristics than conventional wing designs.   Its wing root leading edge has a sweep of 50 degrees, the outer wing leading edge has a sweep of 62.5 degrees, and trailing edge has a forward sweep of four degrees. Captain   Vikram Batra ,  PVC  (9 September 1974 – 7 July 1999) was an officer of the  Indian Army , awarded with the  Param Vir Chakra , India's highest and most prestigious award for valour, for his actions during the 1999  Kargil War . Batra joined the  Indian Military Academy  (IMA) at Dehradun in June 1996 in the Manekshaw Battalion.After completing his 19-month training course, he graduated from the IMA on 6 December 1997 and was commissioned as a  lieutenant  into the 13th battalion,  Jammu and Kashmir Rifles  (13 JAK RIF).After commissioning, he was sent to the regimental centre in  Jabalpur ,  Madhya Pradesh  for further training. The training lasted one month from December 1997 to the end of January 1998. On completion of this training, he was posted to  Sopore ,  Baramulla district ,  Jammu and Kashmir , an area with significant  militant activity  in mid-March 1998, he was sent to the Infantry School at  Mhow ,  Madhya Pradesh , for the Young Off
